Our Mission:

To explore matters of life and death through film – theatrical programming and educational offerings.

Why focus on Life and Death Matters?  We’ve created LADmatters as a work of service. We believe that media can positively inspire us to question the way we move through life. Our films question paradigms in a way that also leaves our audiences with a sense of HOPE.  LADmatters is more then a film festival. Our programming examines the physical and spiritual challenges we face while highlighting the courage and triumph of the human spirit.

Beyond our provocative  and entertaining films, what sets our festival apart from others are community events, theatrical offerings, educational presentations, seminars and interactive workshops. We are unique on the festival circuit, and our programs will open your hearts and minds.

Our Goals are to:

• Educate and inspire, promoting a conscious approach to all facets of life.
• Create a platform for artists and educators who have delved into the human journey, giving them a place to showcase their work.
